Steinau an der Strasse is the magical town where the authors of some of the best loved children’s fairy stories spent their formative years.

On the German Fairytale Route your daily routine will seem like an eternity away. Covering more than 600 magical kilometres from the River Main to the sea, it runs through a region full of literary invention all the way to Bremen’s market square and the statue of the Bremen town musicians.

Pilots’ strike – Lufthansa come up with special flight schedule and complete information for their passengers. A strike has been announced by the pilots union “Vereinigung Cockpit” (VC) from 22 February to 25 February 2010. Wherever possible passengers will be rebooked on alternative flights.
